The first step in my de-cluttering method is to take a close look at all the stuff we’re carrying in our landscape (be it mental, emotional, physical or other). When I saw these pipes around Centre Pompidou in Paris last week, I couldn’t resist them! How are they for big eyes?
When I talk about creating space, I talk about noticing and paying attention to the stuff that we’ve become blind to. It’s easy to no longer see what we’re surrounded by and have become used to carrying in our landscape. My invitation is to start looking at all of that stuff, because the likelihood is that we can rather easily let some of it go.
What would you see in your landscape that you no longer need if you took a close look?
