What a venue for a tech conference! The Merchant Taylor’s Hall was certainly an atmospheric spot for the CIOWaterCooler Live event that made a change from your standard day in the office.
My highlights were seeing some familiar faces, thinking about the difference between innovation and disruption, learning about blockchain and trying to make sense of quantum computing.
And I also can’t help but wonder at the speed of tech evolution, while wondering about how our brains keep up with it all. The future is already here, do we have the brain space to see it, to process it and to recognize how it will change our world?
And of course, in the meantime, there’s the day job and the overflowing inbox…
