How lovely to visit here again for a meeting today!
It is always a particular feeling to return as a visitor to somewhere that used to be very familiar. We feel like we belong somehow, but not quite fully. We know our way around, but there are some subtle changes so we quickly re-adapt to the new lay of the land. And we look at things with fresh eyes.
When we follow a well known routine, we become blind to many things that are just there, or that we take for granted. So sometimes it can be useful to take a step back and look at our stuff through the eyes of a visitor.
What would they notice that we are not seeing? And if we were taking the role of that visitor, what might we advise ourselves?
Very often my clients are stuck in their landscape of clutter and can’t see a way forward. My job is to create some thinking space in order to help them survey the stuff in their lives, and decide what to keep and what to let go of.
If you are looking to de-clutter your landscape, get in touch and let’s talk.
