to change or not to change?

Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Cabinet Office to learn all about the workings of the brain and how to apply the latest neuroscience for effective leadership.

My main take-away is that aversion to change is a myth! The aversion is in fact to negative consequences. Change that we expect to be detrimental to us in some way is a threat, whereas we happily accept change that appears positive. Lottery win anyone?

As a senior leader, how do you handle change for yourself and how can you help your team through it?

If you are stuck in negative consequence thinking, get in touch and let’s clear some of the mental clutter.
