how dark is your data?

By 17 September 2019No Comments

This was one amongst many topics discussed in last week’s very interesting event by CIO WaterCooler on managing data complexity.

Unsurprisingly, dark data (data that is being generated and stored by companies, but not used in any way) accounts on average for more than half of all the data held. What huge untapped potential!

It’s a bit like all our clutter: the majority of it is accumulated and kept without our noticing, and we are often not really aware of it being there.

How many habits and default thinking patterns do we apply to our daily interactions, our relationships both with our colleagues and at home? And what is the untapped potential of bringing these into our awareness?

If you want to shine some light on your dark clutter, get in touch and let’s talk.
